Here’s an update on my to do list. It’s the first update, but not the last. In my wedding announcement post, I started my list. This is where we are at:
Fix the Redwood Deck- Now we are on to
washingand staining the deck. - Plant flowers
Seed grass: Dad’s neighbor is installing grass at his place, and he ordered extra for us, and even offered to install it!- Kill weeds
- Build wedding arch
Find a caterer- Now we need to order the food
Pick out flowers- Send invites
Pick out cakes- Figure out seating
More that has been added to the list:
- Get Wedding license
- Pick out Sam’s outfit
- Earrings
- Vows
- Napkins
- Serving Platters
- Ceremony schedule
- Guest log table and welcome sign
What I got done last weekend:
- Plates and Silverware: there was some fancy plastic plates and silverware at Sam’s! They will do the job.
- Picked out my shoes
- Guest log book (Hobby Lobby)
- Cake Stand (Hobby Lobby)
- More arch flowers (Hobby Lobby)
- Discovered ideas for table cloths and center pieces.
- Champagne glasses for Sam and I, plus our guests (Hobby Lobby)
Our colors accidentally became light pink and purple, due to the flower we chose for the arch!
